CVC members are doers. Supporting and caring for others is in our DNA. And over the years, we have learned that we are better together! Since 1992, CVC members have come together to share best practices and support each other in making more informed decisions about how companies and organizations can best support community.
As we proceed through these uncertain days where COVID-19 is affecting everyone, we know that many of your colleagues are looking for guidance about how to help. In response, the CVC will begin hosting a weekly "Solutions Hour" phone meeting each Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
We will focus our conversations on identifying solutions for Metro Atlanta's most pressing needs. We will also allow space for sharing ideas, identifying service gaps and more.
Our April 22 program will feature President and CEO of Hands On Atlanta, Jay Cranman, who will share "Top Ten Things You Can Do Right Now" to lend a hand. Amanda Bisgaard, Hands On Atlanta's Family Literacy Program Manager, will join the conversation as well.
This program is appropriate for all experience levels and for representatives of companies/organizations of all sizes. Please register if you plan to participate, and we'll send you the dial-in information.
