CVC members are doers. Supporting and caring for others is in our DNA. Over the years, we have learned that we are better together! Since 1992, CVC members have come together to share best practices and support each other in making more informed decisions about how companies and organizations can best support community.

As we proceed through these uncertain days where COVID-19 is affecting everyone, many are looking for guidance about how to help and manage. In response, the CVC is hosting weekly "Solutions Hour" phone meeting each Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

We will focus our conversations on identifying solutions for Metro Atlanta's most pressing needs and helping corporate and community professionals weather our current situation. We will also allow space for sharing ideas, identifying service gaps and more.

Our April 29 program will feature special guest, Dr. Beth Cabrera, and will focus on well-being and personal resilience. Dr. Cabrera earned a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Georgia Tech and has gained experience through teaching, conducting research, advising organizations and coaching individuals. She is author of Beyond Happy: Women, Work and Well-Being.

We will talk about taking care of yourself during a time of stress, loss and anxiety about what's next. Please be prepared to bring your challenges and concerns to the discussion, so that we may  think about how we can best support one another during these complicated times.

This program is appropriate for all experience levels and for representatives of companies/organizations of all sizes. Please register if you plan to participate, and we'll send you the dial-in information.
