CVC members are doers. Supporting and caring for others is in our DNA. Over the years, we have learned that we are better together! Since 1992, CVC members have come together to share best practices and support each other in making more informed decisions about how companies and organizations can best support community.
As we proceed through these uncertain days where COVID-19 is affecting everyone, many are looking for guidance about how to help and manage. In response, the CVC is hosting weekly "Solutions Hour" phone meeting each Wednesday.
We will focus our conversations on identifying solutions for Metro Atlanta's most pressing needs and helping corporate and community professionals weather our current situation. We will also allow space for sharing ideas, identifying service gaps and more.
Taproot Foundation, a leader in corporate pro bono service, will join the Corporate Volunteer Council on Wednesday, May 27 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. ET for a Solutions Hour presentation examining how companies can harness virtual pro bono to support nonprofits and maintain employee engagement during these uncertain times.
