CVC members are doers. Supporting and caring for others is in our DNA. Over the years, we have learned that we are better together. Since 1992, CVC members have come together to share best practices and support each other in making more informed decisions about how companies and organizations can best support community.
As we proceed through these uncertain days where COVID-19 is affecting everyone, many are looking for guidance about how to help and manage. In response, the CVC is hosting regular "Solutions Hour" meetings to provide a place for members to come together, share solutions and group problem-solve.
Leading public health professionals inform us that outdoor activities are among the safest we can take part in as we adapt to life with COVID-19. Our June program will feature CVC member partner, EarthShare Georgia, and several of its member organizations as they highlight the benefits of engaging employees in nature. We will hear from:
Madeline Reamy, Executive Director, EarthShare Georgia
Michael Halicki, Executive Director, Park Pride
Judy Yi, Director of Outreach, Trees Atlanta
Na'Taki Osborne Jelks, Assistant Professor, Spelman College and Co-Founder/Board Co-Chair, West Atlanta Watershed Alliance (WAWA)
This program is appropriate for all experience levels and for representatives of companies/organizations of all sizes. Please register if you plan to participate, and we'll send you Zoom information.
