CVC Sunset Picnic and Book Swap

Join the CVC for a relaxing summer evening under the trees at Historic Grant Park! This late afternoon picnic is the perfect way to unwind with nature, connect with fellow members and guests, and soak in the sunset!

The CVC will provide Jimmy John's subs (meat and veggie options available), bottled water, and sides compliments of Inspire Brands Foundation. Bring your favorite beverages, a picnic blanket or chairs, and a book to swap! Whether it’s a title that inspired your professional growth, a personal favorite, or a story you think others will love, summer is the perfect season to dive into new pages and share the joy of reading.

This is a casual, community-centered gathering so come as you are and stay as long as you like. Parking for a fee is available in the main Grant Park garage located at 759 Boulevard, S.E., Atlanta, GA 30312. Limited street parking is also available. Rain or shine.

Our picnic will be centered around Grant Park's "Medium" Park Pavilion, which is a quick 2-minute walk down the paved path from the park's main parking garage. To locate the pavilion, head down the path from the parking garage into the park following the Zoo Atlanta signs. As you head down the hill, you will see the pavilions on the right.
