Field Trip! Celebrate Earth Day at the Lifecycle Building Center (Wednesday, April 22, 2026)

The CVC invites members to join us for a special Earth Day field trip to Lifecycle Building Center (LBC) on Wednesday, April 22nd from 10:30 a.m. to Noon.

Lifecycle is an official 2025-2026 CVC Member Partner, and their mission is to strengthen communities through building material reuse. During our field trip, we will explore their headquarters, learn about their current programs, and discover how LBC is investing in communities.

The CVC's 2025 member survey indicated that members are interested in building a deeper understanding about challenges and opportunities in Atlanta. We look forward to discussing sustainability, workforce development, and more during this exploratory tour!

Please dress comfortably and wear sturdy shoes. We will be walking and standing for the majority of the tour. You are welcome to bring colleagues along, but we ask that all participants register. This program is appropriate for CSR and community leaders at all experience levels. Complimentary parking is available on-site.

CVC Q2 Program: Social Impact Tech Connect (Wednesday, May 06, 2026)

Join the Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC) for an engaging, fast-paced exploration of how technology is transforming corporate social impact. This dynamic, “speed dating” style session is designed to maximize learning and connection, giving participants the opportunity to rotate through multiple expert-led stations, each highlighting a different angle of how tech can strengthen CSR strategy, measurement, partnerships, and community outcomes.

Throughout the session, you’ll hear from leading voices across corporate and nonprofit sectors, including Ashley Gardner, Program Manager, Google (LinkedIn), Ashley Collier, Chief Development Officer, Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (LinkedIn), and Lee Hendrickson, Corporate Volunteerism Manager (LinkedIn). Additional speakers will be announced soon.

Expect a highly interactive experience where you’ll not only gain insights from experts, but also learn from peers as you exchange ideas, challenges, and practical solutions in real time. Whether you're looking to sharpen your data strategy, explore new platforms, or better integrate technology into your impact work, this session will leave you with fresh perspectives and actionable takeaways.

CVC Summer New Member Networking Roundtable (Tuesday, June 09, 2026)

You are invited to join the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta (CVC) for a New Member Networking Roundtable on Tuesday, June 9th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at TK Elevator's corporate office. We are so grateful to Chaundra Johnson for hosting us!

During this informal gathering, our membership committee, led by Jasmine Cockfield (American Honda Motor Company) and Laura Moody (Purpose Possible), will provide information about how to best leverage your involvement with the CVC. We will also hear from our friends at TK Elevator about their current community priorities and allow plenty of time for peer-to-peer sharing.

This program is appropriate for new CVC corporate members and member partners, new representatives from existing CVC member companies, and corporate representatives considering membership.

Parking is available onsite, and light refreshments will be provided. Business casual attire is suggested. We hope to see you there!
